State Police troopers responded to a Columbia County 911 broadcast about the suspect on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The suspect, Andrew J. Case, age 41, of West Seneca, in Erie County, was located and arrested on Route 9 in the Columbia County town of Greenport, according to police. 21-Year-Old Accused In Shooting That Injured 2 Young Girls In Capital Region Weeks after a shooting in the region left two young girls injured, police have arrested a 21-year-old suspect. Keovion Goodwine, of Troy, was taken into custody Tuesday, July 2, on attempted murder and related charges. Troy Police did not publicize the arrest until Tuesday, July 16. According to investigators, Goodwine shot two girls, ages 11 and 14, near Fourth and Madison streets shortly after midnight on Sunday, May 12. In Albany County, the two victims walked into the Cohoes Police Department at around 2:40 a.m. Monday, April 15, to report that they had just been robbed at gunpoint. The incident took place in Rockland County in the Hillcrest area of Ramapo on Greenridge Way on Monday, Dec. 19.
