Six From Westchester Charged With DWI In State Police Stops New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley busted nearly 30 motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the last week-plus. The local residents charged were:  Westchester County On Friday, Oct. 26, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Walter L. Traub, 41, of Bedford, for DWI. He was traveling on I-84 in Patterson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested. There was gridlock on both the Saw Mill River Parkway and I-684 for much of the Friday afternoon commute following northbound crashes that blocked lanes. The Saw Mill River Parkway crash was northbound at Roaring Brook Road (Exit 33) with gridlock to Route 120. The I-684 incident occurred at Route 22 (Exit 3) in Armonk with stop-and-go delays I-287 while the lane was blocked. There were additional northbound delays a short time after the line reopened due to a stalled vehicle in the right lane on I-684 at Route 172 in Bedford (Exit 4).
