ID Released For Man Critically Injured In I-87 Crash A man critically injured during a crash with a tractor-trailer on I-87 has been identified. State Police report that Orange County resident Louis M. Lupo, 52, of New Windsor, remains in critical condition following the crash on Monday, Jan. 13. One Critical Following Head-On Route 59 Garbage Truck Crash In Hillburn Police are investigating a serious head-on crash on Route 59 in Hillburn that took place early in the morning The crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 when a northbound garbage truck swerved into the southbound lane of Route 59 striking a small sedan head-on, Ramapo Police said. The truck pushed the car into a parking lot adjacent to Route 59.  The sedan's driver, of Warwick, was extricated by Tallman, Hillburn and Suffern Fire departments.
