Restaurant Burglary Suspect Nabbed In Capital Region
A Capital Region man was nabbed for allegedly breaking into a restaurant, causing damage, and stealing money.
The incident occurred in Saratoga County at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, on Maple Avenue in Greenville.
According to Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, an investigation determined that David Gregson, age 57, of Saratoga Springs, allegedly forced his way into the restaurant, causing damage to the building earlier in the evening. While inside, Gregson reportedly stole money and then fled on foot.

Capital Region Woman, 25, Killed After Car Rolls Over Several Times On NY Thruway

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash after her car rolled multiple times on the Adirondack Northway.
The collision occurred in Saratoga County around 4:50 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, on the Northway north of the Exit 14 off-ramp in Saratoga Springs.
According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the crash caused one of the vehicles to overturn and killed the driver, identified as Makenzie T. Minkler, age 25, of Rensselaer.

Registered Sex Offender Rapes Child In Capital Region, Police Say
A registered sex offender is facing fresh charges after allegedly raping a child in the region, police said.
Saratoga Springs Police arrested Terrance Crawford, age 38, on Monday, Feb. 19, after they were contacted by a relative of the alleged victim.
The family member told investigators they had discovered incriminating social media conversations between Crawford and the child, police said.
Following an investigation, Crawford was arrested without incident and charged with rape and criminal sex act, both felonies.

Emma McTiernan never got to meet her newborn son, Finn.
The 36-year-old wife and mother from Cohoes in Albany County died early Wednesday, Nov. 8, due to complications experienced during childbirth, according to her obituary.
McTiernan’s untimely death leaves her husband, Joe, to raise their son on his own.
“On the night of the joyous occasion of delivering our beautiful baby boy, complications arose and Emma wasn’t able to pull through,” Mr. McTiernan wrote on Facebook.
