11th-Grader Caught With BB Gun At School In Hudson Valley An 11th-grade male student at a Hudson Valley high school was nabbed with a BB gun in his backpack. The incident occurred in Ulster County at Rondout Valley High School in Accord around noon on Tuesday, Sept. 17. According to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, school administrators received a report of a potential weapon on campus and notified the school resource officer. In addition, they put in place a lockdown and lockout at both the high school and the middle school. Teen Driver Smoked Marijuana Before Capital Region Crash Killing 14-Year-Old, Police Say An 18-year-old man is facing vehicular manslaughter charges in connection with an alleged DWI crash in the region that killed a 14-year-old girl. The Saratoga County incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in the town of Waterford. Police said Everhett Hatlee, of Troy, was driving a Dodge Charger on Fonda Road when he lost control and rolled his vehicle near White Street.  The crash killed 14-year-old Kiera Ebert and seriously injured her 16-year-old brother.
