4-Month-Old Injured After Woman Crashes Into Tree In Region A 4-month-old girl sustained life-threatening injuries, and two others were seriously injured after the car they were in left the roadway and struck a tree head-on in the region. The incident occurred in Ulster County at 10:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, on Libertyville Road in the town of New Paltz. According to New Paltz Police Chief Matthew Sutton, a preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a 2007 Saturn was traveling northbound when they passed another vehicle in the no-passing zone.
