Navdeep Singh, 48, of Dix Hills, was arraigned on felony conspiracy and criminal solicitation charges in Nassau County Court on Monday, June 9. The charges stem from an alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting a man Singh had been feuding with for years over a multimillion-dollar construction deal gone sour.

A man is facing attempted murder charges following a stabbing spree at a Long Island home that injured eight people.
Moses Brooks, age 50, of Wyandanch, was indicted on nearly two dozen criminal counts in Nassau County Court on Friday, Nov. 22.
According to the charges, Brooks was attending a crowded basement house party on Linden Place in Hempstead in the early hours of Sunday, Oct. 6, when he exposed himself to a 26-year-old woman.

Trio Recruits Own Kids To Steal From Long Island Macy's, Police Say
Three people are accused of recruiting their own children to help them steal from a Macy’s store on Long Island.
The incident happened in East Garden City, at Roosevelt Field Mall, shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.
According to Nassau County Police, a security guard stopped two women and a man who left the store while concealing dozens of items that weren't paid for. The trio were accompanied by three children, ages 3, 10, and 13.
Together, the group stole 67 pieces of merchandise by concealing items inside bags and a stroller, police said.
