Dogs On Cocaine Among Horrors Found At Animal Abuser's Centereach Home, Police Say A Long Island man faces multiple animal cruelty charges after authorities found nearly a dozen dogs living in deplorable conditions, including two that ingested drugs. Christopher DiGiovanna, age 42, was arrested Saturday, Nov. 23, after detectives from the Suffolk County SPCA uncovered 11 dogs living in squalid and dangerous conditions inside his Centereach home, police said. Fourth Of July Crackdown: Extra DUI Patrols To Monitor NY Roads Over Holiday Weekend Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that extra patrols will be on the lookout for drunk and drugged drivers over the Fourth of July weekend.
