Stabbing, Barricaded Suspect Reportedly Trigger Large Police Response At Long Island Home Negotiations with a barricaded man are reportedly underway following an alleged stabbing at a Long Island home. Emergency crews were called to a North Bellmore residence, located on Bellmore Road south of Jerusalem Road, about a stabbing and barricaded suspect at around noon Tuesday, Dec. 10. One victim was taken to a hospital with stab wounds, according to preliminary radio traffic. Officers were still on scene at 2 p.m. trying to make contact with the male suspect, who was armed with a handgun and a knife, according to radio traffic. 12-Year-Old Airlifted To Hospital Following Long Island Crash Two people were injured, including a young boy riding a bicycle, when a pair of large cars collided. The North Bellmore incident occurred at around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. According to Nassau County Police, a 52-year-old man was driving a 2020 Ford Econoline Van northbound on Oakfield Avenue. Near the intersection of S Shelley Road, he collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 41-year-old woman heading east.
