Deadly Hit-Run: New Video Shows Suspect Vehicle In Crash Killing Long Island 21-Year-Old Police are hoping that newly released video will help track down a hit-and-run driver who killed a 21-year-old Long Island woman. The incident happened at around 3:20 a.m. Monday, May 20, in Ronkonkoma near the intersection of Ronkonkoma Avenue and Third Street. Suffolk County Police said Elyse Crivaro, of Holbrook, was walking across Ronkonkoma Avenue when she was struck by a southbound car. The vehicle, described as a dark colored sedan, fled the scene. The deadly wreck happened at around 7 a.m. Friday, May 31, in Calverton, on the eastbound I-495 exit 71 ramp to Edwards Avenue. Suffolk County Police said a Hyundai sedan was attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Edwards Avenue when it was struck by a Chevrolet pickup truck heading southbound.
