Upwards of 450,000 SUV and pickup trucks are subject to a recall by General Motors due to a faulty electronic brake control module that may potentially fail to warn drivers when there is a loss of brake fluid. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Friday that GM is recalling multiple models and vehicles due to the issue. 3 Dead Following Head-On Capital Region Crash
Three people were killed in a head-on highway crash in the region. The Greene County wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, on Route 23 in the town of Windham. Sheriff’s officials said a Buick SUV was heading eastbound on State Route 23 when it collided with a westbound Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection of Cross Road. Police are asking for help in locating a man from the region who was reported missing. Saratoga County resident Robert Crofut left his Moreau home at around 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, according to sheriff’s officials. He was driving a white 2011 Dodge Dakota pickup truck with New York license plate number 18186JE. Crofut, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, is 5-foot-7 and 120 pounds, and is bald with blue eyes. Police are investigating after a 74-year-old Connecticut man was killed during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 55 in the town of Dover, a hamlet of Wingdale, around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, June 13. According to Capt.
