Covid-19: Two New Pop-Up Vaccination Sites Open On Long Island In an effort to make the COVID-19 vaccine accessible to all members of every community, New York is setting up a pair of pop-up vaccination sites at Long Island churches this week. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that as part of his effort to make the vaccine available to members of Black, brown, and poorer communities, sites would be set up at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church in Huntington Station and Memorial Presbyterian Church in Roosevelt.
