Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash On Southern State Parkway In Babylon A 58-year-old man died from injuries he sustained in a crash on the Southern State Parkway. Police received a report of the crash in the Suffolk County town of Babylon in the westbound lanes of the parkway near Exit 37 at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, according to New York State Police. Nassau County resident Michael Simeone, of Massapequa, was riding a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he left the roadway and struck a light pole, police said.
