One Killed In Crash Involving FedEx Vehicle On Long Island Expressway

One person was killed in an overnight crash involving a FedEx vehicle on the Long Island Expressway.
It happened around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 4 in Ronkonkoma.
A 2018 Honda sedan, driven by Stephen Neville, age 29, of Lake Ronkonkoma, collided with a 2017 Nissan sedan, driven by Xavier Rodriguez, age 19, of Centereach, on the eastbound Long Island Expressway as the two vehicles were attempting to turn onto Exit 60, Suffolk County Police said.
The Honda came to a stop in the center lane and the Nissan stopped on the exit ramp, according to police.

Woman Seriously Injured After Being Hit By SUV At Busy Long Island Intersection
A Long Island woman was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle.
Christina Vaugman, 42, of Smithtown, was injured around 11:27 p.m., Thursday, April 2, in Lake Ronkonkoma, said the Suffolk County Police.
According to detectives, Niah Smith, 22, of Brentwood, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban southbound on Lakeshore Drive when the vehicle collided with Vaugman who was northbound near the intersection of Norwood Lane.
Vaugman was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Smith was not injured.

Taylor Pick, of Calverton, Jonathan Beretta, of Centereach, and Maureen Serra, of Lake Ronkonkoma, were taken into custody by law enforcement for their roles in allegedly coercing minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
