It happened on Monday, March 11 in Cedarhurst, according to Nassau County Police. Just after 5 p.m., a 68-year-old man had just parked his car and was walking south on Bayview Avenue when he was approached by the trio. School Bus Clipped By Vehicle, Hits Long Island Home A small school bus crashed into a Long Island house after another vehicle clipped the bus. The incident took place around 4:50 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3 in Nassau County, at the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Peninsula Boulevard in Cedarhurst. No students were on board and the driver was not injured, said Nassau County Police. The bus was from the Lawrence School District. The home was deemed safe with no major structural damage, officials said. The crash did cause a short traffic backup during rush hour.
