Long Island Man Wanted On First-Degree Gang Assault Charge

An alert has been issued for an alleged gang member on Long Island who is wanted by police on Long Island.

The Nassau County Police Department is attempting to locate 25-year-old Lamel Blaylock, who is wanted by the Nassau County Court on a charge of first-degree gang assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.

While he was a teenager, Blaylock was arrested in Hempstead when he was involved in an armed robbery with another teen who stole money and food from a deliveryman.

Police investigators described Blaylock as a 6-foot African American man with black hair and brown eyes. Police noted that anyone who recognizes Blaylock or who spots her should not attempt to apprehend or detain her.
