Missing Long Island Woman Found

A 59-year-old woman who went missing in Nassau County has been found.

Lauren Edel of Valley Stream, who had last been seen on Sprague Drive on foot on Monday, Sept. 9 at 7:45 p.m., has been located, the Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad said on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10.

A 59-year-old woman has gone missing on Long Island and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her.

Lauren Edel of Valley Stream was last seen on Sprague Drive on foot on Monday, Sept. 9 at 7:45 p.m., the Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad reports.

She is 5-foot-10, 170 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. No clothing description is available. Her possible destination is unknown, police said.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above Missing Person contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
