Local Man Charged After Shot Fired At Popular Pizzeria In Hudson Valley
A local man has been charged in connection to a shot-fired incident at a Hudson Valley restaurant. The Dutchess County incident took place in the town of Fishkill at Antonella's Pizza around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, the state police, the Town of Fishkill, and the Village of Fishkill police departments responded to Antonella’s Pizza located on State Route 9 in the village of Fishkill for a report of a shot fired into the business. Barricaded Man Who Threatened Troopers With What Looked Like A Rifle Taken Into Custody In Area
State Police took a man into custody after he barricaded himself in Wappinger and then threatened officers with what looked like a rifle. The event took place around 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, in Wappinger, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Police responded to the home of Jerry Ford, 44, Wappinger after receiving a request for a welfare check, Hicks said. Ford apparently became "upset" while being interviewed and went inside his home and came back out with what looked like a rifle and pointed it at officers, he added. Three Area Residents Charged In Drug Deal Gone Bad, Police Say
Three area residents were arrested and charged for a crazy drug deal gone bad that included one of the men hanging onto a vehicle and being dragged, state police said. The incident took place around 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, when the New York State Police troopers and members of the Village of Fishkill Police Department responded to Route 9 for a report of a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian with vehicles chasing one another, said Trooper AJ Hicks, spokesman for the state police.
