A ranking of the most expensive colleges in the United States includes several schools in the Hudson Valley, according to a report from CBS News. The news outlet shared a report on March 10 of the 50 most expensive colleges in the United States. A new study by Forbes ranks New York state's top universities by the value of their education. Topping the nationwide study is Columbia University in New York City, which ranked 27th overall. The Ivy League institution's annual tuition is $53,000. Colgate University in Hamilton placed 37th nationwide. Its annual tuition is $49,970 Stony Brook University ranked 41st overall.
