Trio Nabbed For Drug Ring Based Out Of Hudson Valley Restaurant, Officials Say Three people face a long list of charges in connection with a cocaine and methamphetamine distribution network that made drug sales at a restaurant in the region, officials announced.  The three arrests were made in Dutchess County following searches conducted at several locations in the City and Town of Poughkeepsie on Thursday, June 27, the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force announced on Friday, June 28.  According to the Task Force, the searches were executed as part of an investigation into the sale of cocaine and other drugs throughout Poughkeepsie. Capital Region Woman Accused Of Stalking A resident from the region has been accused of stalking. New York State Police in Columbia County from the Livingston barracks say an investigation determined Tara Tomlin, age 29, of Elizaville, contacted the past and current employer of the victim to make false allegations of drug use and inappropriate behavior. On Tuesday, June 25, Tomlin was charged with: Aggravated harassment in the second degree,  Stalking in the fourth degree. Tomlin was arraigned before the city of Hudson Court and released on her own recognizance to reappear on Tuesday, July 2.

Fatal Crash: 34-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Capital Region Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person dead in the region. It happened around 5:10 p.m. Thursday, June 20, in Albany. The investigation determined that Albany County resident Michael F. Furch, age 34, of Guilderland, was operating a motorcycle when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a concrete barrier exiting I-787 on the off-ramp to I-90, New York State Police said. Furch was ejected from the motorcycle and landed on the shoulder of I-787 northbound below the off-ramp.   Furch was pronounced dead at the scene.
