At 12:16 p.m., officers responded to a crash on Route 1 South near Randolph Road at the Rahway-Woodbridge border and found several utility poles damaged, Rahway police said. Footage shows firefighters at the scene with a burning vehicle. Motorists on social media said the incident created a "traffic nightmare."
