Passaic's First Taste Of Summer Continues Through Mid-Week

PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. – Northern New Jersey's first real shot of summer weather will continue through the middle of the week.

Monday will remain hot with temperatures approaching the mid-90s. An air quality alert has been issued for the area that will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Muggy temperatures will linger into Tuesday with highs in the 90s again, but with a 30 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. 

Sun will remain on Wednesday, but temperatures will be a bit cooler. Expect highs in the low 80s. 

Sunny skies stick around on Thursday with highs mid-70s. 

Clouds and the threat thunderstorms will return on Friday with a high near 71. Chance of rain is 50 percent.
