A 65-year-old driver from Newark was taken to the hospital and slapped with drug charges after damaging a slew of property, including three different homes, during a serious crash in Morris County on Tuesday evening, authorities said. Police: Medical Episode Kills Man In Morris County Supermarket Parking Lot
A 56-year-old Morris County man was found dead in his car after police said he suffered what they believe was a medical episode Wednesday morning. The Pine Brook man was found unresponsive in his vehicle outside of Kings Supermarket in Gillette around 9:55 a.m., Long Hill Police Lt. James Marczewski said. A 48-year-old Montville driver was issued a summons for reckless driving following a chain reaction crash involving a school bus, authorities said. The man struck a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old man from Stockholm, that was pushed into a school bus carrying 17 children on Morristown Road around 7:10 a.m. Sept. 4, Long Hill Police Lt. Man Claiming To Be From UPS Swipes Fraudulent Purchase From Long Hill Porch, PD Says
A man claiming to be from UPS showed up to a Morris County home to swipe a package that had been delivered under the homeowners' names without their knowing, police said. The unknown man showed up around 10 a.m. Friday to the Bungalow Terrace home in Millington moments after they had been delivered, Long Hill police said. "The package contained cell phones purchased under the resident’s account without their knowing," police said. The investigation is ongoing.

A 21-year-old female driving on her learner's permit was taken to the hospital after a deer struck by another vehicle landed on her windshield, authorities said.
