Pickail, who's lived in Ringwood 30 years, opened Wallflower Antiques on Greenwood Lake Turnpike in August 2014. The unique talents of Ringwood can be found there most Saturdays.
"I am always looking for crafters and people that make things," she told Daily Voice. "... I've met a lot of great people that I probably wouldn't have met before."
Some of her guests bring woodwork, homemade candy, old cloth repurposed into new materials, and other creative pieces. Pickail doesn't charge for the space and enjoys spreading the word for her peers.
Pickail has her creative side as well. Many of the items at her store incorporate recycled items from the past made new again.
She also makes her own soaps and candles. She usually hand pours her candles into vintage cups or gravy boats for a signature look.
"It's not just old stuff," Pickail said. "It's true vintage, things that are still useful. They've survived the test of time."
