These Are South Jersey's Top Public High Schools: New Rankings Released Three Jersey Shore public high schools were recognized among the 100 best in the U.S., according to an education data website. Niche has released its 2025 Best Public High Schools in America list. The website said its rankings are based on "rigorous analysis of key statistics," U.S. Department of Education data, and millions of reviews from students and parents. Motorcyclist, 20, Killed In Salem County Crash A 20-year-old motorcyclist from South Jersey was killed in a crash on Friday, May 31, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on Route 660 at the intersection of East Lake Road in Pittsgrove Township, according to New Jersey State Police. Jacob W. Wright, of Monroeville, was killed in the crash, State Police said. Based on a preliminary investigation, a Yamaha motorcycle was traveling east on Route 660. Bridgeton's Zane A. Berry Loved To Fish, 23 Zane Austin Berry, a native of Bridgeton, died on April 13, according to an obituary published by Pancoast Funeral Home. He was 23 years old. He was a 2018 graduate of Woodstown High School.  He worked as an installer for RCL Solar, his obituary said.  "Zane was very outgoing, with the largest heart," his obituary said.
