Neighbors and loved ones are raising money to honor the memory of the Pennsylvanian who died in a boating accident in Wildwood, New Jersey during Independence Day celebrations. Williams Haug, 34, of Ridley Township, was on a 17-foot vessel in Post Creek with four other people when an "incident" occurred on July 4, New Jersey State Police have said. The recent discovery of a missing vehicle submerged underwater containing human remains in a suburban Philadelphia town could help police crack a cold case dating back to 2003. Divers who found the vehicle and recovered the remains believe both belong to James Amiable, a Ridley Township man who left to pick his daughters up from a babysitter and never showed up on Dec. 4, 2003. Gunman In Custody After Leading Police Pursuit Across PA, NJ, DE
A man accused of firing a gun inside his Delaware County home was in custody after leading police on a multi-state pursuit over the weekend, 6abc Action News reports. The man reportedly fired a shot inside of his house during a dispute with his wife on Springfield Avenue in Ridley Township early Saturday morning, authorities told the news outlet.
