The owner of the disabled car requested a tow behind the Daily Treat Restaurant on East Ridgewood Avenue late Sunday afternoon. A female occupant of one of the civilian vehicles had to be hospitalized in the wake of the pursuit and crashes early Monday evening, all of which happened in a matter of minutes. Christopher Loehwing, 49, parked the smashed-up Charger in a shopping center lot outside his apartment more than a mile away following Wednesday night’s crash, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said.
