Man Spray Painted Antisemitic Messages On Wall Outside Jersey Shore Home, Police Say
A man was accused of spray painting antisemitic graffiti on a wall in front of a Monmouth County home, authorities said. Joseph Antebi, 25, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 16, the Township of Ocean Police Department said in a news release. A hometown wasn't immediately available for Antebi. Ocean Township police responded to a vandalism report at a home on West Park Avenue. The caller reported someone sprayed antisemitic messages on the paver wall before running away from the home. One of the New Jersey State Police Department's highest-ranking troopers is being investigated over remarks he allegedly made about the state's attorney general, the general himself confirmed. Matthew Platkin issued a brief statement about the investigation of Lt. Colonel Sean Kilcomons following a news report published by the New York Post, which alleges Kilcommons referred to Platkin as "that Jew." Jonathan Holloway will resign as president of Rutgers University at the end of the 2024-25 academic year, the school announced. The university's 21st president will step down after finishing his fifth year in office on Monday, June 30, 2025, Rutgers said in a news release on Tuesday, Sept. 17. A Manchester Township man will spend decades in prison after a series of antisemitic attacks in Ocean County that injured five Orthodox Jewish men, authorities said.
