Police ID Bicyclist Killed On Black Horse Pike, Police Say A bicyclist was killed in a crash on Black Horse Pike on Friday, May 17, police said. Arthur Herz, 61, of Mays Landing entered the westbound lanes on a bicycle around 8:20 p.m. when he "made impact with" a 21-year-old man's Jeep Cherokee, Hamilton Township police said. It happened near milepost 45.5. Herz, who was not wearing a helmet was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jeep driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken via ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona for further evaluation. Galloway Man Killed By Driver, 29, Who Crossed Center Line In Hamilton Crash: Police A 62-year-old man was killed in a Route 50 crash Saturday, Feb. 17, authorities said. Thomas Nyers, of Galloway, was heading north on the roadway in Hamilton when 29-year-old James Langlois, of Richland, was heading south in a 2017 Dodge Ram around 6:05 p.m., Hamilton police said. Langlois crossed into the northbound lane of travel hitting Nyers' vehicle south of Old Egg Harbor Road, authorities said. Neyers was pronounced dead at the scene and Langlois suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Campus. Traffic was divert…

Driver, 27, Killed In Black Horse Pike Crash A 27-year-old man was killed in a crash on Black Horse Pike Saturday, Dec. 23 in Hamilton (Atlantic County), police said. James Rodriguez, of Minotola, was heading west in a 2008 Mazda Miata when the car left the road and struck multiple trees just before midnight near Route 50, Hamilton Township police said. Rodriguez was pronounced deceased at the scene and traffic was diverted for approximately three hours. Assisting on scene was the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, AtlantiCare Paramedics, Mays Landing and Laureldale Fire Departments.
