Clementon Park & Splash World Shooting: Philadelphia Gunman Arrested, Police Say
A Philadelphia man was arrested for a shooting that broke out at a New Jersey water park. Quahee Eaton-Kennedy, 24, was arrested after the shooting in the parking lot of Clementon Park and Splash World around 7:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, Clementon police said. Officers responding to reports of shots fired found people fighting in the parking lot. Police separated the individuals involved and charged Eaton Kennedy with second-degree weapon possession. South Jersey Driver, 37, Killed In Collision With Dump Truck
A 37-year-old man from Camden County was killed when he struck a dump truck in Gloucester County, NJ Advance Media reported. Thurman H. Smith Jr., of Chesilhurst, was heading west on Route 322/Glassboro Road when he struck the vehicle around midnight Thursday, Oct. 6, the outlet said citing Monroe Township police. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene near Fries Mill Road. The 34-year-old dump truck driver was not injured.
