New Union City Bus Garage, Terminal Moving Forward: NJ Transit NJ Transit is moving forward with plans for a new bus garage and terminal in Union City after being approved by NJ Transit's Board of Directors. The project, which has entered the design phase, will be a state-of-the-art bus facility to store and charge electric buses and be a service facility for bus cleaning, maintenance and inspection, along with a terminal for passengers, NJ Transit said.
