A Garfield teen was given more than 20 theft charges after he was found carrying stolen mail in Wall Township, authorities said. The 16-year-old boy was arrested near Industrial Road, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The arrest came as officers have increased patrols in response to rising criminal activity, particularly mail theft, in parts of Wall. Teen On Bicycle Suffers Serious Injuries In South Jersey Crash, Troopers Say
A teen riding a bicycle was seriously injured when they were hit by a car in Pittsgrove, authorities said. The 14-year-old was struck on County Route 553 on Tuesday, Aug. 27, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 27.7 at around 11:35 a.m. Investigators said the teen left a parking lot and didn't yield to traffic. The Audi was traveling north and crashed into the bicycle. The teen was brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. No one in the Audi was injured. The crash remained under investigation.

Two Teens Accused Of Aggravated Assault Near Jersey Shore City's Boardwalk: Police
Two teens from Pennsylvania were accused of aggravated assault near a Cape May County boardwalk, authorities said. Two boys, a 17-year-old from Philadelphia and a 16-year-old from Ivyland, PA, turned themselves in to North Wildwood police, the department said in a news release on Thursday, June 27. Police posted two pictures of the suspects on Facebook on Sunday, June 9. The teens were wanted in an incident on Saturday, June 8 near the corner of East 26th Avenue and the Boardwalk. Two Teens Caught Stealing From Several Stores In South Jersey Mall, Police Say
Two Mays Landing teens were accused of breaking into an Atlantic County mall overnight and stealing from several stores, authorities said. Hamilton Township police responded to the Hamilton Mall at around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, the department said in a Facebook post. Officers found a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl wearing ski masks and carrying large bags full of stolen items. The boy and girl ran away but they were caught by officers.
