Andrew De Juana, Mount Olive Native, Dies At 34: 'True Light Of Life'

Andrew De Juana, who grew up in Mount Olive, died on Monday, Nov. 4 at the age of 34, according to his obituary from William Leber Funeral Home.

De Juana was a sales manager at Equnox in Manhattan and had recently received his New York Yoga Teaching Certification, according to his obituary. Aside from yoga, he enjoyed hiking, spending time at the beach, and traveled to Thailand, California and Hawaii, his obituary reads.

"Andrew... brought light and joy into every room he entered," his obituary reads. "Known by his family and friends as a true "light of life," he was a free spirit with a quick wit, a love for singing, dancing, and a knack for bringing fun wherever he went. Andrew embraced life wholeheartedly, always living each day to its fullest."

De Juana is survived by his parents, Lourdes and Erik, his brother, Brandon, his stepfather, Alex, his grandmother Zoila and numerous other family members and friends, according to his obituary.

A funeral was held on Sunday, Nov. 10 at William Leber Funeral Home in Chester.
