The movie will be re-released in theatres in June, preceded by a roadshow tour, featuring Q-n-As with Smith.

“Dogma,” the fourth film in Smith’s View Askew series is about two fallen angels cast out by God who plot a return to heaven while two prophets try to stop them. The movie stars Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Chris Rock, Alan Rickman and Linda Fiorentino.

The movie is not available on streaming and DVD copies often sell for hundreds of dollars. But now fans can once enjoy it again on the big screen.

“Bless me, Father - for I have cinema!” Smith wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone who kept the faith all these years; you’ve sustained me during the long crusade to resurrect my movie! Praise the Lord and pass the popcorn for the second coming of Dogma!”
