Salem Community College Mourns Nursing School Leader Killed In Pilesgrove Township Crash A Mullica Hill woman and beloved nursing school leader died in a crash that injured three other people in Pilesgrove Township, authorities said. Dr. Theresa Covello, 65, was killed in the crash on Monday, Dec. 9, a state police spokesperson said. She was the chief nursing officer at Salem Community College. PA Motorcyclist, 24, Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash: State Police A 24-year-old motorcyclist from Pennsylvania was killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Friday night, Dec. 6, state police said. Troopers responded to the northbound inner roadway near milepost 77 in South Brunswick at approximately 7:48 p.m. following a report of a crash, officials said. A preliminary investigation revealed that Torbjorn Vetland, of Stroudsburg, PA, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on the right shoulder when he struck the guardrail, causing the motorcycle to overturn. Motorcyclist, 45, Killed In Camden County Crash A 45-year-old motorcyclist from Camden County was killed in a crash Sunday, June 2, in Gloucester City, authorities said. Christopher R. Chester, of Lawnside, was on the exit 1B ramp from Interstate 76 south to Interstate 295 north at 9:45 a.m. when he lost control of his Suzuki motorcycle, struck a guardrail and was thrown from the Suzuki, New Jersey State Police said. Chester was pronounced dead at the scene.
