Service has been suspended on parts of the Morris and Essex line after a train disabled in Maplewood on Friday, July 7, NJ Transit officials said. The train disabled due to overhead wire issues, transit officials said. The 36 passengers were taken off the train and put on a bus, transit officials said. Disabled Secaucus Train Causes 90-Minute Delay For All Penn Station NY Trains
People packed themselves into NY Penn Station Tuesday, Aug. 23 due to a disabled train in Secaucus. The disabled train, caused by overhead wire issues, led to a nearly 90-minute delay around 7:55 p.m., NJ Transit said on Twitter. One train into Trenton was 2 hours and 20 minutes behind schedule.
