Video: Three Paterson Firefighters Hospitalized In House Blaze

PATERSON, N.J. – Three Paterson firefighters were taken to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston with injuries that included burns to their heads from a three-story house fire, authorities said Sunday.

None of the injuries sustained in 11:30 p.m. Saturday blaze at 74 East 18th Street was considered life-threatening, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Fire Chief Michael Postorino said in a joint release.

None of the seven tenants who were displaced was injured, they added.

The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately determined, authorities said. An investigation was continuing, they said.
