Man Exposed Himself, Publicly Urinated Outside Urologist's Office: Denville PD
A 30-year-old Union man was arrested and charged for publicly urinating outside a urologists office in Denville on Friday, Aug. 2. Officers responded to Garden State Urology at 282 Route 46 on a report of a man who had exposed himself in front of the office and also urinated on the property, Denville police said in a release. During their investigation, police obtained surveillance footage, allowing them to identify the suspect, police said. He was issued a summons for lewdness and public urination and was released pending a court appearance, police said.

An 18-year-old Hackettstown woman stole thousands from the Cadillac dealership she worked at in Mt. Olive, authorities said. A 20-year-old Budd Lake man was arrested and charged after he robbed a man and then later fled on foot on the evening of Wednesday, June 12, authorities said. A 30-year-old Allamuchy man was recently charged with trespassing after he returned to a Target on Route 46 after being ordered to leave, authorities said. A 24-year-old dirt bicyclist was struck and killed on a Clifton street just below Route 46, authorities confirmed. A 2007 Honda bike driven by the as-yet unidentified rider collided with a Honda CRV at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and East 11th Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, they said. Fire Behind Route 46 Mexican Restaurant Doused
Firefighters doused an overnight blaze in a building behind a Route 46 Mexican restaurant in Saddle Brook. The 9th Street fire ignited around 3 a.m. Wednesday March 13. Firefighters who initially found smoke coming from the ceiling of the one-story building behind Taqueria Los Güeros had the flames knocked down in under 15 minutes. No injuries were reported. A 47-year-old woman was in critical condition after she was struck by a car Monday night on Route 46, responders said. The driver of the white Nissan hatchback that hit her remained at the scene of the crash in the westbound lanes at Phillips Avenue in South Hackensack shortly before 10:30 p.m. The victim, believed to be homeless, was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.
