Gas Line Explosion Injures Four Near Route 287 In Piscataway Four construction workers were injured after an explosion occurred while they were pressure testing a gas line while working on River Road Bridge near Route 287 on the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 5, the township confirmed. The four workers, employed by energy company J. Fletcher Creamer & Son Inc. were taken to a nearby hospital, the township said, calling the explosion "serious."
