The driver was intentionally delaying looking for vehicle documents, police said. California Woman Admits To $800,000 Fraud: Morris County Prosecutor A 63-year-old California woman pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Jan. 21 to defrauding a Hanover Township resident out of more than $800,000, authorities said. In 2023, Anna Marie Bustamante posed as an authorized vendor when the victim sent her $806,727.92, via a bank account that was made to resemble the bank account of the authorized vendor, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. Man Assaults Co-Worker With Pole: Hanover Township Police A 33-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested and charged with assaulting his co-worker with a pole on Wednesday, Nov. 27 in Hanover Township, authorities said. Police responded to a residence in the township where Juan Silveriodisla and a co-worker were working on a home, Hanover Township police said. An argument turned physical, and Silveriodisla assaulted the co-worker with a pole, police said. Silveriodisla was charged with assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, police said. He was release pending a court date, police said.
