Newark Carjacker Crosses County Lines In Police Pursuit: Authorities A carjacker is at large after he was able to elude police during a pursuit that began in Newark on the early morning of Tuesday, Feb. 11, authorities said. At 2:57 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard after a Chevy Malibu had been carjacked and the driver was assaulted, Newark Public Safety Director Eugene Miranda said. At 9:36 a.m. police observed the carjacked vehicle near the Delancey Street exit of Routes 1 and 9, Miranda said.. 'Mrs. Maisel' Actor Sent Sexual Messages To 14-Year-Old In North Jersey: Sources A 31-year-old actor and Hawthorne resident was arrested and charged on Thursday, Oct. 10, with sending sexual messages to a 14-year-old girl, Daily Voice has learned. Matthew Kresch sent the text messages to the girl as part of an attempt to lure her into having sex, Hawthorne police said. He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of luring. Kresch, whose birthday was Sunday, Oct. 13, co-directed the horror film "Alone Together" with his brother, William, and played a bartender on two episodes of "The Incredible Mrs. Maisel," IMDB shows. …
