It’s part food truck, part racecar — but all New Jersey ambition.
LJ Koch of West Milford, is trying to make history this summer — behind the wheel of a Corvette-powered fajita truck that just hit 126 mph at Pocono Raceway.
Nicknamed The Vettro, the one-of-a-kind ride is part 1952 International Metro Van, part 2021 Corvette Stingray, and fully fueled by Jersey creativity.
“We didn’t plan on making a race car food truck,” said Koch, 30. “But after a mid-engine C8 Corvette came into our lives, we all looked at each other and were like, we need to build the world’s fastest food truck.”

Loaded Gun, Drugs Found On Sleeping Motorist In Front Of Hudson County School: Cops
A man found asleep behind the wheel of a car near a Hudson County school was arrested after officers spotted a loaded handgun in plain view and later discovered cocaine, pills, and cash, authorities said.
The incident happened around 8:24 a.m. on Friday, May 16, on Hudson Avenue in Guttenberg, according to Police Chief Frank Pelaez.

A Paramus Emergency Services police officer was hospitalized Thursday morning, May 15, after a crash that occurred while he was on his way to help a woman giving birth in a vehicle, officials said.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on Farview Avenue at Farview Terrace, according to Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti.

A 15-year-old from Pennsylvania led police on a high-speed multi-state chase from New Jersey into Rockland County in a stolen car before crashing into a tree on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, police said.

Family, friends, and strangers across North Jersey are rallying around the loved ones of Michael Mendonca-Lopez, the 23-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Passaic County crash over the weekend.

Fourteen years after she was last seen, the body of a Camden woman reported missing in 2010 has been identified, authorities said.
DNA results confirmed the remains pulled from a submerged car in the Cooper River in Pennsauken last year were those of Bernadine Gunner, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said Tuesday, April 29.
