Woman Struck, Killed In Crosswalk Near Mount Olive Park: Cops A 66-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car while walking across a road near a Morris County park Tuesday afternoon, May 6, authorities said. The crash happened at 4:06 p.m. on Flanders Road near Turkey Brook Park in Budd Lake, according to the Mount Olive Police Department. Police said the woman was walking in the crosswalk toward the park when a red Kia traveling south on Flanders Road hit her. The accident happened on Oak Ridge Road at Route 23, according to the West Milford Fire Marshal’s Office, which responded to the scene along with the West Milford Fire Department.
