"America's Best Restaurants" host Theo sampled the Simple Chicken Fajitas, the Steak Diane at Ellery's Neighborhood Pub & Grill in Middlesex.
"Now I'm not going to lie though," Theo tells owner John Ellery. "I'm a little excited to get to this bad boy right here."
It's the Brunch Burger that he's talking about, topped with hash browns, eggs, and pork roll — "not Taylor Ham," Theo says.
Ellery's owner John Ellery says the burger is a new item on the menu.
"That is a phenomenal burger," Theo said after taking a bite. "We got the cheese we got the egg then we add the burger to it. Undefeated."
Ellery's celebrated its 27th year in business last March, and its owner says he's proud to be a community-oriented establishment. Last weekend, Ellery's held raised $6,000 through a fundraiser for the NJSP's Troopers United Foundation, and the Middlesex Elks #1488, for the "Special Children's Fund".
