Woman Killed in Gloucester County Fire: Police A 73-year-old woman was killed in a fire in Gloucester County on the morning of Thursday, Feb. 20, authorities said. At 8:05 a.m., officers and area fire departments responded to 530 Marion St. and saw the residence engulfed by heavy smoke and fire, Elk Township police said.  After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered the woman deceased inside the residence, police said. The fire broke out at about 1 a.m. Friday, July 5 on the 1000 Block of Lindberg Drive near Delsea Drive in Deptford, according to Union Fire Co. #1.
