Driver Hospitalized After Tractor Trailer Overturns On Route 287: Njsp A driver was hospitalized after their tractor trailer overturned on Route 287 in Morris County on the early morning of Thursday, Nov. 21, authorities said. At 4:02 a.m., a tractor trailer driving on Route 287 North in Boonton Township veered off the roadway to the right, struck a guardrail and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Two Injured In Route 521 Crash: Njsp Two people were injured in a two-car crash on Route 521 South in Sussex County on Friday, Oct. 25, authorities said. At 7:53 a.m., two passenger vehicles collided in a head-on crash on County Road 521 South in Montague Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A third vehicle struck debris from the prior collision, Lebron said. The two drivers involved in the head-on collision sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Lebron said.  The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

At 3:04 p.m., a tractor trailer lost directional control and overturned on Route 80 east in Roxbury Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said. No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Newark Men Ditch Audi Stolen From Chatham Before Brief Foot Pursuit: Njsp Two Newark residents were arrested and charged with stealing a vehicle out of Morris County on Wednesday, May 29, authorities said.  Omar Deas, 25, and Rahmir Singletary, 21, stole the 2012 Audi A5 from Chatham around 4:35 p.m., Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman with the New Jersey State Police said.  The car was spotted in Newark where it was disabled to a prior deployment of a tire deflation device, Lebron said. Dog Bites Troopers On Route 80: Njsp A loose dog was a little overzealous on Route 80 in Warren County on Tuesday, May 28, authorities said. Troopers responded to a report of a dog running on Route 80 eastbound in Allamuchy Township, Jeffrey Lebron a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. When troopers and civilians tried to capture the dog, they were bitten, Lebron said. The troopers and civilians suffered minor injuries, Lebron said. The dog was captured and turned over to nearby animal control, Lebron said.
