Drones were spotted flying along the Jersey Shore in the latest mysterious sighting in the Garden State, authorities said. In a Facebook post, the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department said three drones were seen at night on Thursday, Dec. 5. Drone Hunts Down Central Jersey Robbery Suspect In High-Tech Pursuit, Police Say
Hamilton Township police used a drone to track down a robbery suspect following a late-night break-in, authorities said. Richard Halley, 54, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 18, the Hamilton Police Division said in a news release. Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress on the 300 block of Whitehead Road at around 10:11 p.m. Investigators said a man wearing a ski mask kicked in a detached garage's door. Four Marina Employees Suffer Smoke Inhalation During Boat Fire In Wildwood, Firefighters Say
Four people suffered smoke inhalation after a large boat caught fire at a marina in Wildwood, officials said. The fire started on the boat docked at Schooner Island Marina at around 12:39 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, the City of Wildwood Fire Department said in a Facebook post. When firefighters arrived, they found the roughly 42-foot boat named "Luv-It" engulfed in flames. The fire spread to the dock and a nearby small shed. Six Teens Arrested With Stolen Vehicle In Ocean City: Police
Six teens were arrested after they were found with a stolen vehicle in Ocean City, authorities said. Ocean City police stopped the vehicle at around 8:17 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, the department said in a Facebook post. The vehicle was reported stolen from Camden. The teens ran away as officers approached the vehicle. They were taken into custody with help from the police department's drone unit.
