Two Injured In Four-Car Crash On Route 80:

Two people were injured in a four-car crash involving multiple trucks on Route 80 in Warren County on Thursday, July 18, authorities said. At 10:47 a.m. on I-80 eastbound in Hardwick Township, a crash occurred between a tractor-trailer, two Ford pickup trucks and a Toyota sedan, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Two drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

A crash with injuries was jamming up traffic on Interstate 80 in Morris County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. on Friday, July 12, according to the NJDOT. The crash involved a vehicle off the roadway along I-80 eastbound west of Exit 30 (Howard Boulevard) in Mount Arlington, the NJDOT said. Check back for updates.

Firefighter Injured In Rutgers Barn Blaze
A firefighter was injured battling a fire in a storage barn at Rutgers University in North Brunswick, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 at the Horticultural Farm property at Rutgers Gardens, according to a university spokeswoman. The building was unoccupied at the time, she said. The fire was contained to the barn with assistance from local fire departments. A pedestrian crash temporarily closed Route 1 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 27 northbound near Adams Lane in North Brunswick Township, according to the NJDOT and local police. A motorcyclist was injured after he struck a deer in Hunterdon County on the early morning of Tuesday, June 25, authorities said. At 5:05 a.m. on Frontage Road in Clinton, a motorcyclist was traveling on Frontage Road when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the motorcycle, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

A tractor trailer hauling used clothes overturned on Route 80 in Morris County on Wednesday, June 19, injuring one person, authorities said. At 3:04 p.m., a tractor trailer lost directional control and overturned on Route 80 east in Roxbury Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said. No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
