Two people were hurt and dozens more relocated as a massive three-alarm fire ravaged a Newark home Thursday morning, authorities said. More than 100 firefighters responded to 390 Lincoln Ave. as the blaze was reported just after 11:15 a.m., Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara said. A third alarm was called about 10 minutes later as the fire started spreading from the two-and-a-half-story wooden-framed home to two neighboring homes, O’Hara said. 13 Displaced, 2 Firefighters Injured In Massive Bayonne House Fire
Two firefighters were injured, two cats were rescued and 13 people were displaced by a three-alarm Bayonne house fire Wednesday. Flames shot out of the home at 126 W. 27th St., around 3:40 p.m., and had spread to both adjacent buildings, the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management said. An occupant was treated by McCabe EMS at the scene while two firefighters were treated at the hospital and released, officials said. Firefighter Falls Through Floor In Hasbrouck Heights Blaze
A firefighter escaped serious injury when he fell through the second floor of a Hasbrouck Heights house during a Monday night blaze, responders said. The firefighter was hospitalized with what were characterized as minor injuries following the mayday call on Henry Street, they said.
