Anthony Joel Medina died on Saturday, May 14, his obituary says. Born in Morristown, Anthony graduated from Newton High School in 2010 and had lived in Green Township for most of his life, according to his memorial. A 17-year-old Newton High School student was returning from the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange the day after prom when the rental car she was riding in overturned, killing her and injuring two other teens. Alexis Faye of Newton was honored with white ribbons tied around town Monday, two days after the fatal accident. Community Mourns Newton Teen Alexis Faye Killed In Crash
White ribbons for her favorite color were tied on mailboxes, trees and lamp posts over the weekend in Newton honoring Alexis "Lexi" Faye. The 17-year-old Newton High School student was killed in a rollover accident Saturday in Fredon, a day after her school's prom. Two other teens including the driver were seriously injured in the crash and flown via helicopter to Morristown Medical Center. Dozens had signed up to contribute to a meal train for the family.
